Wood Fence and Custom Metal Gates Built for Security and a Clean Look

Some properties need more than a standard fence pulled off a shelf. They need something built specifically for the layout, the use, and the way the land sits. That's exactly what we were working with here - a property that needed real security without ending up with something that looks slapped together.

We put up a 6-foot wood fence and fabricated 3 custom metal gates to go with it. The gates are built with a welded metal frame and wire infill, hung on solid wood posts that aren't going anywhere. The wood fence runs the perimeter with a round rail along the top and wire panel below - a combination that holds up to daily use and looks good doing it.

The thing about custom gates is that they have to fit the opening exactly. A gate that sags, drags, or won't latch right is a headache from day one. We build ours to swing clean and close solid, every time. Hardware is bolted through, not just screwed in, and the framing is squared before it ever goes on the hinge.

What you end up with is a fence line that's consistent from one end to the other and gates that function like they should for the long haul. No gap at the bottom. No twist in the frame. Just a straight, sturdy build that gives the property the boundary it needs.
